Modo methods for modeling jet fighters, jet bombers, business jets and jet airliners.

Jets!
In my first two modo DVD's, I focused on techniques, rather than specific projects, and as you can see from the title, this one focuses on jet aircraft modeling. We'll be having a look at several types, from modern fighters like the F-22, to business jets, airliners, and bombers. The large jets, especially the airliners, present unique modeling challenges, so I've included articles on the landing gear, lighting, wing construction, interior, etc..
As you can tell from the title, this DVD focuses on the creation of modern jet aircraft. I've included examples of fighter, bombers, business jets, and two major airliner projects. The same techniques apply to any modeling subject, so even if you're not an aircraft fanatic, I think you'll find a large variety of information that may improve your results.

Right brain/Left brain…
First, a very large aircraft project focusing on the construction of the King Air B200 model, as well as a variety of systems, including animated versions of the de-ice system, fire suppression system, heating/cooling system, fuel system, and a fully-animated cockpit.
And, something completely different…
A variety of large, organic visualizations for other artists, making extensive use of modo's sculpting and painting tools. Several model and scene files are included too, in LXO format.

Details...

That's what this DVD is all about, and the two main projects focused on, (Cessna 310K and the Northrop T-38 "Talon") provide plenty of opportunities to show a variety of methods for creating them in modo. As with all of my other DVD's, I want to make it clear that although I generally concentrate on aircraft, these techniques apply to anything else you want to model. It's about creating shapes that serve your needs, texturing them, rendering them, and setting up some basic animation, via modo 501's great new tools. The (screen capture) video parts of the presentation are 1280 X 720, at 24 frames per second, with audio, and as with my previous DVD's, the rest of the content is set up just like a web site, so that you can navigate directly to any parts you like, in any order you like. There is an included "user_media" folder, containing several free models and scenes.
